The amazing blog from Richard Koci Hernandez is gone, has been for I guess a couple weeks now. I still click on it once in a while, and today discovered that Koci’s (cause, you know, we’re on a first-name basis and all) got a new blog. 

Got to love the back to the roots stuff. Living art.

This guy drives me nuts. (In the good way.)

Note to self: Look up Picasa and AutoViewer. Look like interesting tools. 

I mean, holy cow, it’s been bubbling to the top of the news an awful lot lately, huh? There’s some great pictures coming out of there (I hope we’ll get a chance to meet this photographer).

There is so, so much to learn about the place, the people, the economic and social situation. We’ve been around a bit, but this will be our first trip to Asia–unless you count the east bank of the Bosphorus in Turkey, which technically is Asia, but you know…

There are a lot of resources, and we’re trying to squeeze in as much research as we can. We hope this blog will help us to get and keep a little bit of research under our belts.

We hope folks will respond, too, with book/article recommendations, referrals and contacts and questions–it’s all going to help us do our job better!
