On a hunch, this morning I called up Lufthansa, to see if they might possibly have space on today’s flight.
Not very long story a little bit shorter: They did, and I’m flying on it in a bit more than an hour.
After a tearful goodbye with downtown Frankfurt, I hopped a train to the airport (a concept I can get behind), and joined the throngs flying out of this place.
Are they all going someplace more interesting, or is it just me?
