A friend and former client wrote recently to note of congratulations on the upcoming release of Edges of Bounty, saying she’d pre-ordered it at Amazon.com.

And I’m all like, “Hey, that’s my book! Right there on Amazon!” I guess authors are supposed to have a complicated relationship with that place. I’m not quite that cool yet though. Sure, I’d still prefer everyone go to their local bookseller in a month and a half or so and ask them to order in copies of Edges of Bounty… 

…but that doesn’t mean that seeing it here is any less exciting to me!
