Been home for a few days, getting back in the swing, seeing people, unburying ourselves from the pile of bills and mail and errands and cleaning and unpacking that inevitably accumulates when you’re away from home for two months. Just getting through the last bit of the gnarly part of the jetlag…

…and then BOOM! — Huge stomach violence. I won’t go into detail, except to say that I’m super, dOOper glad this whole business didn’t go down when we were out on the trek or even in Kathmandu for that matter. 

I mean, it’s kind of funny, isn’t it, that we should spend two months being healthy in what must be one of the least hygienically aware countries in the world, only to come home and get nailed by something here, right off the bat.
