HOly Cats, batman! Leapards and leeches and moaists, o my!

You guys are just reeking with adventure. I am so loving this blog. Oh man, the pictures of the school are shocking. I love the paper stone holder- such a simple sign of ...hope? I don't know why, but it made me want to cry. And to think Saru loves her life so much it's what she wants to be a farmer when she grows up- that's humbling too. I wonder if that will change as she goes through school.

Scott, your description of how you felt when you first saw the school, and of wanting to capture all that you were seeing, was so visceral. You are such a compelling writer. You both bring such organic, compassionate insights to this project. I'm just enjoying following along so much. Thank you for taking the time to commit your thoughts to the screen, and share them with us all back home. Its so good.

And thank you to the cocreators! THey sound amazing. I am so glad they are making your job of telling these stories even more possible.
