In fact, I'm replacing my old G2 here, so it would be an interesting lineage jump. But I was looking for something more compact, and hoping not to spend that much, so ended up going with the PowerShot SD 1100 IS (in blue, ooh, how fancy!). On its way now. It's not the tiniest thing in the world--barely jacketpocketable, depending on the jacket--but it's pretty flexible. Goes for about $450. I don't know the landscape of little cameras very well, to tell the truth. But now that I have this one, I don't really know how I did without one for so long.
